From what I have read pin-modding isn't that hard... but if something does go wrong I'm not sure how you could explain a broken processor to Dell... which processor do you have?
I should have gotten the pro recovery cd.... i ordered mine with home loaded and an home recovery cd *kicks self*... i didn't know if they were smart enough to notice what I was going to try...lol
Who did you get the drivers from? Nvidia, laptop2go, or tweaksrus.. i used the tweaksrus 81.98 v2.25a drivers and got 3517 at stock speeds.. and yes you can overclock it and there are threads on it... its something that takes a while to...
sounds cool... if you do any overclocking of the gpu.. make sure fan 2 stays on high... its not required but probably a good practice I'm guessing those temps are at idle?
From what I have heard, the fans have a life of around 30,000 hours which is about 3 1/2 years if you leave them on 24x7... so... I also heard that what kills them more than anything is excessive on/off cycles... so if you turn them on...
