The way it was explained to me was, a GPU may last 8 years or so... overclocking it may make it last 4-5 years... I guess it depends on how long you plan to keep your lappy...

Transcend ram is slower than the OCZ.. wish I would have went for the OCZ personally..

I put 2gb in mine... it may be excessive for now.. but I am sure it wont be long until it would be nice to have around.

I paid 1570ish for the setup in my sig... but to be honest I'm not that impressed with it... I miss my desktop...

I turned them down to 350/750 and everything is fine... too bad I can't go higher, guess I didn't get the best card outta the stack... lol

That's not bad.. i got the setup in my sig for about 1500

I turn on Vsync and it stops it for a while.. but it reappears...? If it was a card problem or overheating wouldnt the tearing continue, or is tearing a oc issue??

I have the bytec cooler from newegg and its brought down my temps pretty well.

Yeah, Halo is the only game I get tearing in... I can play serious sam and the sims with no problem.
