Sorry - the card must go with the laptop. For now at least.

Dell has treated me very well on all warranty issues. I usually go to Dell Chat and handle things.

Mine idles at around 70 to 75 - in fact, it's idling at 75 right now. I have yet to apply AS5, but that is next on my list.

A very respected source - I don't think someone was trying to con me. So far this card runs overly hot. Right now it is idling at 76, for instance.

I've still got my i9300 with 7800gtx mod. Really nice laptop that has played most current games at very high settings (of course not crysis), although I just upgraded to a 1710, so I will be selling my i9300.

I upgraded from a 7900gtx to a 7950gtx. My personal opinion is that the 7900gtx is just as good real world performance as the 7950. At least mine was. So what I'm saying is that the 7900gtx will work just as well, but cost about $150...

160 GB is as high as you can go with the i9300. Unless they changed the bios recentloy that is.

Is the game really that good anyway?? I joke - I'll be getting it soon.
