Keep quickset. Use the latest touchpad driver from Dell's site for your laptop. You really should reformat and re-install from pure WindowsXP, Dell is nice and all but the bloatware is really meant for regular joe-blow users...

do you mean "flicker" when the image is being scrolled up/down? If so, yes. This is due to the horizontal refresh (scanlines) of LCD screens.

I bought one from PatrickVo, and it works like a charm. To be honest, since it's not hot-swappable, I don't use it a ton, but for long trips on a plane I use it since it draws less power than a DVD (it has my DivX movies on it).

I should let one of our tanks "accidentally" run mine over, but I don't want to be without a laptop while I'm out here... any idea how long it takes for a replacement to happen?
