So you say that Clevo´s 8800m GTX is as fast as Dells SLI 8800m GTX? Yeah that´s probably how it is right. The 3d Mark 06 score of 10000+ is either on the Q6600 or the Q6700 at least the benches I have seen. So you say that a T7700 has...
Had the same problem with my 8700m GT´s in Vista, tried 3-4 different drivers still stuttering, or more like skipping. I had great fps too all maxed, though I had my 8700GT´s overclocked
Reason why they get 10000 with the single 8800m GTX is only because of the Quad Core CPU, it would be better if they ran 3D Mark 05 that isn´t as CPU intensive as 3D Mark 06. But we all know 3D Mark doesn´t mean a jack except for E-Peen....
What´s the issue with SLI for Clevo when Dell already has it running in M1730?
With my 8700m GT´s I were using 171.16 Vista 32 driver which boosted FPS really well. Though the cards ran 10 degrees c hotter. Now I don´t own any XPS M1730 anymore, until one or two more weeks when I get my new one with 8800m GTX...
Tweak the game to get the most out of it. Look at my youtube video, search for Crysis XPS M1730. I tweaked the game and also overclocked my 8700m GT´s and the game ran pretty good at 1680x1050. Though I don´t have the tweakfile anymore...
Yeah works great overclock with Rivatuner which I did and will do when my 8800m GTX SLI arrives
True 3D Mark doesn´t mean a jack. Though I think those 8700m GT´s in SLI were a solid performer, but of course I sent it back to get the killer 8800m GTX in SLI instead. Yes that was some serious overclocking on those 8700m GT´s I...
And I got 9130 on 3D Mark 06 with my XPS M1730 with 8700m GT SLI which I sent back and reordered a new one with 8800m GTX. Now that 9130 score were with a 2.4GHz C2D too.
That 3D mark score is not impressive, mostly it is the CPU score that is raised that puts it at 14k. Why not overclock the 8800m GTX instead, that is what I will do and even with a 2.4GHz Core2Duo I expect to break my current 3D Mark...
