firefox still not acting "the way I think it should"...the bottom line is the more tabs I keep open and the longer I keep it open the more it crashes.

thanks ghn...i also updated to the latest version changed ssl to true (strange that it would be set to false). Also the browser.cache.memory.capacity setting...nothing was found.

Hello, if I have about a dozen tabs open in firefox a lot of time it will become non responsive. The only way I can get it working right again is to shut down windows xp home and restart. Im running a basic notebook that has 512mb ram...

Ok, my girlfriends computer (toshiba m35x) has had multiple problems...first the power jack has failed TWICE. She did NOTHING to cause these failures. Actually there were times when a month went by before she even moved the computer. ...

yeah i agree it looks cool...has a great big screen and the ability to load it with 4gb ram isn't bad....downside (expected is size, weight and cost)...u cant always get what u want
