just went to their website and there are about 50 different notebooks they offer and no idea where to start. Do they not allow you to just build what you want?

I just placed a Dell XPS laptop order and the estimated ship date is 8/5! Ridiculous! What laptop manufacturer can I go online, buy a laptop, configure it, and get it shipped to me much quicker?

I carry it around daily, I run excel reports, check email, and surf the web. I do have 8-10 pages open at a time. What laptop do you suggest new for $1500-ish or less?
