How in the heck do you make this dang thing boot off the CD-ROM? It keeps wanting to load the operating system, regardless if the Windows XP cd is in there or not. I've tried pressing F12, F10, F1. Changing the boot options to load...

Check to make sure it's seated properly. A loose connection could cause that error I believe. If not, then you'll most likely have to buy one that's compatible with your hardware.

Personally I'd get another 7200RPM drive and set them up in a RAID configuration. The added speed of finding data on a hard drive to me, just isn't worth it as I believe that's one of the only main strong points with SSD, the seek times...
