nvidia drivers past 100 series do not have the integrated temp reader. When they did, it was in line with the 8 degree offset, meaning that they showed 8 degrees higher than FanGUI... I'm going to try the sleep method too.

good temps, mine are indentical. Also, make sure that you have set your i8kfan software for an 8 degrees offset on the GPU, because if you didn't you're seeing 8 degrees cooler temps

so it doesn't work at 667Mhz CL4. G-skill is still king of the hill with 667Mhz CL4
