i have the 256 go6600, and also 2gig of ram, it made a huge difference from when i was using just the 512. search around, because i got my 2 gig sticks very cheap from a third part online dealer. i think the ram manufac. was muskin.....

My computer does the same light thing.. sometimes its green, sometimes its blue. its strange. and the weirdest part is if i push on the case, just to the left of the light.. the light will change from blue to green.. but not back to...

i dont think anyone has a m5500 with the x1600 yet.. but i could be wrong. i only have the go6600..

i have to actuly go to the mouse properties, and disable it.. and if i happen to be somewhere where i can use my mouse.. i have to use the keyboard and arrows to get to the control panel, and to the mouse settings, to turn it back on....

I think they like to reformat peoples computer just for the hell of it.. i sent it in for a videocard upgrade.. and they wiped my drive clean.. why? i dont understand at all.
