The guy who originally posted it on the Dell forum said he found a few more FPS on some games. Less stuttering. I don't have any tests yet but this procedure allows you to always get the latest drivers without having to wait for Dell...

I tried it. It does give you the newer driver from Intel (rather than a stripped Dell version). It allows you to control Open GL directives and a few other things. Some performance boost as well...
