Was able to use the Linux build Knoppix to get my data off the HD. Have since deleted all partitions, reformatted and reinstalled windows.

Update: Tried running a Repair off the Windows XP CD...loads the beginning drivers (blue screen with gray at the bottom, flashing the drivers being loaded) and BSODs even before choosing to repair or reinstall.
