M140 is not Core Duo (945 chipset), it is the 915 chipset with a Pentium M.
Looks like you want to pin mod, do a search, there are lots of threads on this and even a few M140 users on here (or used to be) that have done the mod.

I'm guessing it's Intel graphics...if that's the case you can't manually allocate the amount of memory given to the graphics system. It's dynamic, taking as much as is needed up to the maximum of 128 MB.
