Long shot, but possible? In fact, im even wondering if the single DVI out on the e1705 is good enuff for a 2405... Some said that the 2405 needs a duallink DVI (a SINGLE duallink DVI connector, pls dont confuse this with DUAL DVI...

if im not wrong just get a WSXGA 17inch laptop. the lower the res, the higher the dotpithc size, (given a screen size)

yes. u can connect external display, so u have 2 dispalys going on at once. If im not wrong u can connect 2 externals, (but u have to shut off ur internal one), and span ur desktop across that too.. Right now im having a 17inch LCD...

my fans on OFF , my temps go from 70 to 80, then theinternal NVIDIA sensor kicks them in back to 70... then shuts off agian... seems too hot for my liking
