it might be a softwar thing like antivirus or something or if you didn't install windows after you instal the new MOBO it might be that you may need to install windows from scratch

the 7700 blue eye is always on the only way to disable it is to unplug it

try putting the windows CD & choose repair (not the respawn)

ok i was able to play Bioshock very smooth on my 7700 great graphic but i must stop all other program or my CPU will catch fire
