So, the M9700 has the expresscard slot. I found a website where they have a pcmcia to expresscard adapter coming out but I haven't looked to see if one is actually out on the market. Has anyone heard of one of these? Curious.

When did you call? I called earlier today and was at phase 4 but the guy was actually a bit shocked that it was moving forward as planned. He did however said that it should be shipped on the 23rd. Either way I'm happy.

That's a fair reason. I was thinking about both companies before I decided on the Alienware laptop. Hopefully it will be here next week but who knows. I'm patient.
