Agreed.. not really going to notice a difference. I installed the turbo memory module since it was cheap to try it out. There wasn't reall a difference that I noticed. The ready boost from what I gather will only help applications start...
I would just recommend that either way you go, get at least a 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo on your build. The AW you showed only had the 1.66 GHz. My preference would be the redesigned Dell 1530, especially since the added better screen...
It's been around a year since the intro of Vista. I've been using my 1520 as a test system since last August. So far Vista has been proven stable to me and actually it's grown on me. I've got Vista installed on my XPS 410 now. Even...

There are articles on the web with benchmarks and reviews of Ready Boost. From what I have reseached, Ready Boost helps load your frequently used apps a little quicker. The Turbo Memory was supposedly suppose to help with boot and apps....
Well.... Here's my recommendation on the 1520. It's a great laptop and I love it for what I use it for. I have two rigs that are in my sig. My XPS 410 is what I game with. I primarily play FPS shooters. I use my 1520 for computing...
