yeh, ive read those threads. but its not this hissing/electrical buzzing noise im talking about. its an actual fan, or maybe a hdd spinning. its a distinct noise in addition to the electrical buzzing and the regular fan.

i dont think that will fit. i have an i6000 and i630m, and there is noooo way that my 9cell 80whr batterys from the i6000 can fit into the i630m. The shape that the ebay ad shows is also the same as the one i have. I would contact seller...
happens to my 630m also. usually happens when i scroll up and down on a website. other times it happens when i minimize or maximize a window.
dell is right, it is a power management program. i read about it somewhere but forget now. you dont have to worry, your laptop is working the way it should be.
i checked mine using the program you said and i apparently have Seiko Epson [Monitor] (3x) although power strip says i have the secXXXX which ppl on this forum say is the samsung lcd and.......my invoice says its the Quanta...
i agree with you fully reiner. keyboard is amazing. its the generic dell keyboard used in everything. soft to type on makes no noise. Screen is good too. In comparison to the ultrasharp lcds i have on my 9100 and 6000, only bad thing...
Yup, definitiely weird. Packing slip also says UD455, quanta model. Either powerstrip doesnt work, or the drivers they use to install this arent the same. I dont know how much you guys trust powerstrip, i am new to it. But,...
