Figured it out after taking the whole laptop apart needlessly! One of the ram slots doesn't hold the ram in tight enough!! Put a bit of tape around the side of the ram so it's thicker and it's working... BUT his touchpad doesn't...

Ok I see what you mean. So if the bios only sees 137GB does that mean that if I for example wanted to some DOS recovery or something, it would only see the first 137?
