Got the network card working on this one finally. See here for more info if you are interested. Currently only have console display, need to figure out pci-e ati-x700 vid card next.

Well, so far, it has not been an easy road to installing gentoo. The latest gentoo cd sees the hardware correctly, but does not have the ethernet driver included. I've found out that the kernel maintainers have not approved this driver...
Well, I got mine last Wednesday and loaded it up on Friday. Nothing but sweetness in windows xp since then. Runs HL2 at 1680x1050 and gets 50 fps average. Wow! My D470K only averaged 25-30 fps at that resolution, with roughly the same...
