You don't need to burn anything, nor do you need a floppy. The XP Pro CD will give you the option to format. Andy, just curious.... why do you need to know or care about Indera's involvement in the non-profit organization?

Why backup a brand new PC before wiping it clean? Serves no purpose unless the thing didn't come with a restore CD. I like process except I would play with the thing for a day or two and make sure everything is working correctly...
