I have the i600 and it's fine. A alot of the guys here would lead you to believe it would fall apart in your hands, but build quality is good for me.

I just got my 600m last week. It is smaller and lighter than I thought it would be and overall I'm glad I chose it over the 8600.

Ibuypower. From what I have read ABS has very good ratings, but its not enough of a difference to make me wait, especially since there is set no date when the upgraded F2 is making its debut that I know of.

Performance increase from 5400 to 7200 RPM is minimal and I do not plan to do any hard drive intensive activities so I cannot really justify getting it. And as for the 2.0 dothan, this baby has to last me 4 years and I cannot really see...

Im also getting this model. 2.0 dothan and 128mb 9700 with SXGA+ screen for 2000 bucks flat, very hard to beat.
