i downloaded centrino, and while i didnt change any of the settings (it already indicated that i had max perf set) it seemed to do the trick. kicked my score up as follows, over doubling my cpu score. this was with antivirus/spyware...
yeah, those were maxes. is there a way to force the cpu to not step down, or is that too risky (or even possible)?

i ran 3dmark06 today and only scored a 2257 (xps2 w 7800gtx). i noticed my cpu score was only 337 and the cpu stats showed the cpu at 2.12Ghz@799MHz(?) Any idea what would cause this and how i can fix it? shouldn't it be up around...
hi all, i just ran 3dmark06 and got a score of 2257, which seems quite low from other scores i've seen. i have an xps2 with a 7800gtx in it running at factory clock speeds. the cpu only scored a 337 and shows its running at 799Mhz....
