The first thing that I can think of is to make sure the wireless is turned on. There should be an indicator light above the keyboard if it is turned on. To toggle press and hold FN (Function) key and then press F8 key.

I can confirm this. Just installed the new driver and it works great. I especially like the disabling of the touchpad feature when a USB mouse is detected.
