You can run FEAR. I run it perfectly well on my e1705 T2500 with the 7800 slightly OC'd. May not be able to run max everything, but you can come fairly close.

Same here. I haven't noticed the fan at all. It either hasn't needed to come on too much, or it is almost silent.
