It should work just like a mouse. Check the Alps program, there is a place to change it. Try that first.
Yes, let us know how it is. I am again in contact with dell tech to try and solve the light prob again.
Yes true but the fish will have on hell of a laptop
Do you have the alps program installed??? If so go to Start, Control Panel, Printers and other hardware, Then select mouse.
Every single WUXGA screens I have seen have had this problem. Seen 4 of them now. The screen I have now has the light problem however it is hard to see and the lights have to be off with a dark background.
yep, I got my 8600 through SB and I think it does make a diff.
If ya want to see if your screen has a prob go to monitorsdirect.com and run their Monitor Calibrator, or just run a dvd and go into a dark room if ya have it you will see the light.
I got my gig of ram at newegg and had no probs at all, been very good.
Dell, do ya have the SXGA or UXGA???
Ok, read this forum first, a lot of good info.... When you first get it check it out to make sure its ok, then plug it in and turn it on. Look at the screen for any probs check the system specs to make sure you got what you paid for. ...
