I wouldn't say ridiculously hard, but they have some bite.

I got mine from Portable One,and I love it. (Go to portableone.com and click on Portable One, then MX series.) They allowed me to configure the thing pretty nicely, including a 7200RPM hard drive, anti-glare display coating, etc.

I've noticed the MultiFrame tray icon and the UI widget that it adds to my windows, but it's not clear to me exactly how to use the thing. Does anyone have some pointers on it? I'm trying to decide whether I want to use it or remove...

I doubt it. Currently the NVidia GeForce 8800 is the only DX 10 capable part, and those things are as big as a boat (and put out enough heat to pretty much bake my office). It'll be a while before someone puts DX 10 in a notebook.
