Update i just installed 4 gigs in my system and it now has 1.5 gigs of ram dedicated to the gpu now. windows experience rating hasnt changed at all. im still checking on gameplay.

also if the vostro 1700 only has 1 fan on the bottom like my 1500 then you should be really careful about overclockling as the single fan may not be enough to vent the heat. at the very least get yourself a good laptop cooler that lifts...
