Sounds really high bud. My go6600 stays between 60-70, ive seen it get as high as like 72 max, but that is is, for core temperature. My ambient temp is usually low 60's
So I am sure I have seen this posted before, but I wanted to see what temps my fellow m5500 owners are getting with their Nvidia cards enabled.
I think I usually see about 60-63 degrees, can getup to 70 then fans kick in and it goes...
Great thoughts, I just picked up the Targus lapcooler, it gets the job done, but this may be better.

The targus I have is a little bit smaller then the 17" one if I recall correctly. Even the one i have is not as large as the base of my m5500 (which is 14.25"), Id say the cooler is only 11 inches wide. The two fans on it do...

With the nvidia cards, there is a setting that will allow you to set the temperature at which you want your card to shutdown, ie to prevent damage. It is part of the nvidia drivers, I have it on my m5500 with the go6600 card, to access...
