The Dell System Restore process does indeed make the Restore partition ACTIVE... that is how it is able to boot itself and restore the image. Under normal operations... once the RESTORE process is complete... the REstore Process Makes...
Does anyone have any experience with this drive in a 9400/E1705/M1710? Looking at getting 2 of them.... 1 for my PS3, the other for the 7900GSX notebook in my sig.
If you look at it in Taskmanager and it is indeed a NETWORK SERVICE... just kill it and you will have your wifi internet connection back again... if you wish to find out what exactly it is... leave it running then use PROCESS...
This issue does NOT exist with VLC Media Player 0.8.6a... Workaround...sure... Solution...NOT.
Forgot to add - This happens with both the Vista Drivers for NVidia as well as the Dell Drivers. 7900GS - Stock.rom thanks
