Has anyone had any luck getting this thing to work? It works very seldom. I get the little cursor when I use the button or the side of the trackpad, but it doesn't do anything. Is there something I'm supposed to do?
Well, much to the dismay of my workflow motivation, I went out last night and bought half life 2.
I had to reduce the resolution to 1024x480, but it still looks amazing. Unfornunate this resoltion leaves black at the top and bottom...
It's funny but in all my years of running Macs (since 1994; System 7.1), I have only ever had file compatability problems with Word files. I can't think of any other cross-platform file type that has given me a problem.

I picked up my 5672 this morning and besides everything being perfect, the only thing I've noticed is that the scroll buttom thingy doesn't seem to work in most programs. I get the little icon and it doesn't do a damn thing.

I'm getting the 5672 from Compusa (2 gig (I'm aware that the RAM is 533 and not 667) 120 gb). It's a great deal but it's got XP Home on it. I need to be running pro. Should I just buy the upgrade...
If - and it's a big if - the connector for the screen is standard I don't see why you couldn't. If you're feeling lucky you could buy an lcd off ebay and try it.
