I noticed that compusa has the 5672 (the model with XP Home) advertised with 2 gb RAM, which I'm pretty sure is a misprint, but I wonder if you could go after them for false advertising and get the RAM they're advertising.
I was going to cancel my order this morning, but it shipped yesterday i.e. early this morning. I wanted to cancel the order and get a 5672, but now I'm wondering if I should just keep it - barring the RAM is the right speed.
If anyone is looking for one, Tiger Direct now has the 8204 - while supplies last.
A few years ago there was a picture of a powerbook G4, where a woman had gotten it wet and put it in the oven to dry for 20 minutes. The images are gone - I can't find any anywhere.
The only thing I need it for is a Alibre design, a solid modeler, and Adobe apps. Really, since I can get 2 gb of RAM on the 5672, I'm all set. The screen rez would be nice, but wxga is fine for $800 - 1000 in savings. I've made up my mind.
