wow... my fps in IE dropped to 3... lol Seriously though, they might not be coming out with a new sequel to a new game that most people's computer can't run. The game might be measured in fph. This might be more of an expansion......
Did you try changing the magnification? On IE, it's either in the lower right corner or the view menu. probably in the view menu for Firefox too...
It sounds like some of the hardware might be loose, based on the fact that flexing the computer fixes it. Have you made sure that all of the hardware is seated properly?
What operating system are you using? 32 bit versions of Vista (and i think xp) only support ~3 gb of RAM. 64 bit versions support more (not sure how much).
Have you tried turning off the Aero stuff? That should help...
Have you tried a different DVD player? Sometimes, different players don't like some media
Crucial can also scan your computer for the right kind of memory...
