I'd been trying to sort this problem out with them for 2 weeks or so via email.
I initially emailed them with my problem, they got back to me with a bunch of things to try, I tried them none of them worked I emailed them...
Just had a phone call from dell, they said that they sorry and they are going to send me out a replacement drive. woo hoo. The said it would most likely be a NEC so I guess that is good.
