I think I have another clue to the problem. I have tried installing IE7 on 2 Toshiba laptops with the same results. BUT...I have 2 older desktop machines that I installed it on with no problems....Curiouser and curiouser.
I just installed IE7 on my laptop and now can't start it. When I try to go to the properties page (right-click the desktop icon) I get the following messgae: The procedure entry point 'GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be allocated...

Thanx guys, I am using the built-in graphics card that came with the machine (intel 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express). Any other ideas...I don't have the mouse trails turned on. It only leaves mouse pointers all over the screen in the Sims...

Maybe I'm just stupid. I've been all over the manual and the mouse settings in the control panel and can't find anywhere to set the scroll regions for the touchpad. Can anyone help me? Thanx
Thanx for your quick reply, but I don't see any options under any of the tabs that let me set the scroll or tapping options. Can you be more specific or am I not reading things right? Thanx, Jim
I have a new M45-S359 and can't figure out how to set the touchpad options. I can't stand the edge options. Can someone please tell me how I can set them? thanx, Jim
