I have a few questions. I have a 1705 ~ one of the original Yonah core launch versions of 2006. Would these upgrades be possible for my computer, eg video card (right now it is a 7800gs) and cpu (T2500 Core Duo)?

If I can take a 725 safely, I should be able to upgrade to the 1.8 745 no problem right? Same chipset and ram; the only difference is in the processor speed.

any of these processors will work with the laptop if I purchase them and install them?

I have a satellite A85 with a Celeron M 1.4 and I'd like to upgrade the processor to maybe a full Pentium M. I'm not sure what chipset the motherboard is and where I can find information about it. Help. Google is worthless at times...

Sorry about the late posting. I got the one year warranty with the non-true life monitor setting. I'm expecting it Wednesday (3/01). I really just want to use it for gaming and some word processing.

That's basically the same config I got on mine.
