I just recieved a replacedment LCD for my M140, but I won't have the time to put it on until this weekend. I hope that it's not as bad as the one I have now.

I love it. Other than the display, I haven't had any problems with it. I play UT2K4 on mine without any problems. Have fun with your new laptop!

No, they didn't ask me to check the cables. Yes, they did ask me to send it back to them but I told them that I couldn't go without it. I then told them that i'd replaced displays on laptops before and they agreed to send me a new display.

I got my answer. I called Dell and requested a new one.

Lately I've been noticing that the display on my M140 seems a little blurry and washed out. If I call Dell and request a new display will they send me a whole new display including the top cover and bezel or will they just send a new LCD...

If both of the modules were the same size, they would be running in dual channel mode. Since they are different sizes, they are in single mode now.

Like the title says, its a 256MB PC2100 SODIMM that I bought when I had my old laptop and never installed it. I don't have that laptop anymore so the RAM is useless to me. Its Crucial ValueRAM btw. $25 shipped Non-CC PayPal only
