Hi, I thought the burner in the 8204 (gsa-4082N) supported 8x writing. However Nero only reports it at 4x, I've tried alcohol 120% too. Anyone have any input on this? Paul

I see the problem in the quad squares image but not in the crankycat image? Do I have the problem or not???

I had a leaflet with my 8204 which told me to mute the line-in volume to stop the noise. Does the trick although will be a bit of a pain if I ever need to use the line-in. Paul
