Dam buzzing noise was really starting to get to me so i decided to open this up and see what made it work.
Step one: take out all the screws on the bottom
Step two: Take the screws out from the hindges.

JayDeep. If you can afford to buy the 8204WLMi then i suggest you go for it. It beats A FX-57 ( Evesham Decimator 78FX ) by 2 marks in Sysmark 2004 SE.

I'm pretty sure the vent expells heat from both GPU and CPU. Oviously it will get hotter if your doing more extensive stuff, but i can't say that it gets noticebly hotter
Nope actuall the X1600 doesn't seem to get hot. I've left my 8204 on for about 48 hours now and the exaust air is actually cool. I've had cases where it just blowing cold air out. But it doesn't heat up and the rest of the Computer is...
i must say. Given the chance to change my 8204WLMi to a Mac Book Pro does seem tempting. But the keyboard on the 8204 just feels so much more natural and The macBookPro power connecter seems to be catching fire (which is a huge minus) ...
