It doesnt look like any video artifacting that I ever seen. Artifacting is when the Video ram or processor is bad. It could be a poxy driver. You may want to try different driver version. Does it only happen in WOW?

Homeslice, Does the spot show up in other areas of the screen? And does it alway look the same and in the same application or game?
