A05 is the newest BIOS. I don't suspect we will ever see anything newer either because they are now outdated models.

If your CPU is running at 533 MHz, then your RAM is going to run at 533 MHz as well. Your RAM can't run faster than your CPU. If you buy faster RAM, the system automatically underclocks it to match the CPU.

Graphics card has very little to no effect on watching DVDs and using Photoshop. It's all CPU. Your graphics cards are only there to render 3D models.

I use Nero 6. No problems here. What do you mean by "bloated"?

I use the G5 mouse and haven't noticed a drop in performance at all.
