Yep vista has the 7900gs drivers added in but they are pretty old. 165.01 from laptopvideo2go are pretty good, at least till geforce toney releases some newer XG's
i've seen some sd's with the vista ready, and others with the vista ready and readyboost. It seems to me as if the ones with the vista ready are just certified to work with vista but not fast enough for Readyboost. Also yep it's vista...
Dude that's pretty weird since the dell adapter i have has composite, not component, maybe it has the signal converter from s-video to composite or component depending on the adapter model, but i haven't seen the one with component, mine...
i think the D-Dock lack of support sucks, i agree on that, also the lack of control of it yep, but there are other issues that i believe are gone on the 16x.x and that's the flickering and bad animations, also i agree on powermizer...
I think i saw a radyboost sd card somewhere so wonnage is rigth about not writing this off. For Achilles, dell replaced my mobo and GPU and they said nothing about AS5 on processor or GPU so i don't think it's an issue.
For anyone else who mess up with the flash, i think there is a blind flashing guide in the flashing topic, i don't know if mimoawi used it but it's there and it could help any of you
165.01 are very good and OC'ed quite well for vista using atitool
