Well, to get the S96 to the A8J's price you'd need to pimp it out royally. For equivolent specs it's actually at least a couple hundred bucks cheaper.
The video cards are also slightly different, but roughly equivolent.

512MB includes 256MB of "hypermemory". Read up on it if you want to know more, but the bottom line is that, if needed for a demanding app, the GPU will steal system memory but only if you have 1GB or more.
They keyboard on the S96J, which is the same thing, is sub par. There's some flex on it especially on the left. It's not a hinderance to me and I do like the firm register of the key as you depress it, but it's nothing like a Thinkpad.

I made mention of the flex and battery life in my review. Turn down the brightness and you can hit 3 hours easy. And the T60 doesn't have a high powered GPU in it, obviously. I'm asusming that's one reason you bought this, so try...
Updated with the unfortunate "graininess" issue. Will happily update later when its resolved, but as far as I know, Asus is still unaware of the problem.
