For example, the Tivo Desktop icon is actually about 1/16" larger on my Samsun 930B desktop LCD than on the S96J screen. I'll add Yahoo for you in a bit....but my review has a shot of the screen from further away showing NBF next...

You're using the drivers from the CD aren't you? They're abysmal....from January I believe. Until Asus releases a new one, you should be using the Omegas.

Mem, you could get XP Home Upgrade form Office Depot for $20 AR this week. Technically it's $13, but you need $7 of filler to use the coupon. That woulda saved you some $$. You just need an old 95, 98, or ME install disk.
The Compal HEL80 has an option for a built-in tuner....so they say. I don't know if it has hardware encoding, but if it does and really is "built-in" then that means not taking up a card slot. And it can be ordered with WXGA+...
