I am in love with Trillian...but it likes to slow down my machine a lot. Like when I'm watching a streaming video, every time I receive an IM the video freezes for a second. But I'm not desperate enough to switch back to AIM.

Yea, so I just got a Lapcool 3, but I realized that since I only have 2 USB's, I'd MUCH rather have a Lapcool 2. Anybody feel like trading? The Lapcool 3 has 80mm fans where the Lapcool 2 has 70mm. Come on....

Hey, can anyone explain why this happens? Like, what would cause my lappy's connection to have to be repaired every so often when my desktop one works forever?

Thanks for the responses, I'll try repairing it next time. No phones used around me or anything though....and I know that it's not my router because my desktop stays connected for days. Meh.
