what games specifically do you want to play? the dell E1505 seems like a good option, its under $1K, comes with the very decent X1400 video card, but it weighs 6.6lbs... baterry should be in the 3-4 hour mark though.
I'd go for the cheaper hitachi
well its hard to say... take dell for instance: Precision M90 = A+ Build quality Inspiron 130b (or something) = D build So I think its hard to compare brands like that...

lol increasing the voltage does not mean that you'll increase the performance... you do that by overclocking, but I don't recommend it
actually get winamp for music and bsplayer pro or VLC for video!
I dont see the point in having more than 2 multipliers, especially on a core duo chip, wich has a high lower voltage (0.950)
