in comparison to the 7600G, the X9000 uses a faster bus (800 vs 667) has 50% more cache (4vs 6meg), has SSE4 (certain tasks in video encoding are over 100% faster), starts at 2.8Ghz rather than 2.33, overclocks to 3.2GHz without...
yes, a 9600 pro turbo is much much better than integrated graphics. in fact it's better in practical use than an 8400gs as well. (though the 8400 will bench better thanks to dx 10 although it gets less than 1 fps in dx 10)
cl5 at 667 has the same latency as cl4 at 533. (667/5=133=533/4=133)The 667 will provide higher bandwidth. the 667 is better/faster ram. Is it better/faster enough to make a noticible difference? I highly doubt it... Since they're...

it gets xps badge because it's thinner and has the new wedge shape from the 1330. xps no longer means gamiing.. it just menas premium... that's why the 1730 is called "xps gaming" since it's the only one really built for...
not that you can get the 8800m in anything at all right now anyway....
it's a software driver. it doesn't affect the quality of the sound in any way. (same speakers, same electronics, same SNR, same THD, same headphone jack, etc. The thing it does do is report a higher level of eax support.... what that...
right.. you can get them now... but when they first released them people were waiting up to 2 months to receive them.... Which was my point... if they announce the 8800 before they have adequate supply it just leads to angry customers.
no, the new xps is VERY different than the 1720.
You're not in the right forum... I don't think dell wil announce anything with the 8800m until it's actually available... they got into enough trouble with under-delivering the m1330s and new inspiron lines already... They don't want...
