one other hiccup with putting the 7600G in the e1705 is that you can't buy a 7600G from anyone but dell and then only in an xps.... so it kinda make the whole thing moot.

as far as I know the 7950s will fit in 9400s but you have to cut/trim some of the plastic inside the chassis to accomodate the extra heat pipe.
