I am in the same situation. My m90 was destroyed and i dont know what i'm getting in exchange. I will not accept the 1600 either. I'm gonna call Dell tomorrow and try to get some info on what i'm gonna get. I'll keep you updated as i can.

Thant's a bad contact on the borders (where the contacts are) of the lcd .. warranty should cover it without problems.

If they gave me a downgrade in any area they will ear from me until the case is solved. The laptop must be at least the same. I don't mind if they send me a m90 refurbished as long as it as the same specs or equivalent. What do you guys...
