that message generally means the ram isn't seated properly, or you are using the wrong type of ram. sometimes when you press F1 it takes a while for the laptop to register the available memory --James

Heh, I remember this thread. Like a lot of other people, I have moved on to the Inspiron 6400 (current laptop) and have looked past ever getting a video card upgrade on the I6000. --James

I have a Inspiron 6400 that I would like to get skins for, but the only websites I see, only have a skin for the top lid and not the inside. Anyone know of anywhere that also does the insides? --James
